FUREWGRD This 1959-60 Spencerian represents for the Senior class the culmination of twelve years of study and achievement in Spencer Community Schools. During these years, the main objective of the faculty and school officials has been the development of students' minds, attitudes, and responsibilities. We have followed many of the patterns set by classes graduating before us-patterns which have become tradition. We have, in turn, by thought, word, and deed contributed our part. It is our hope that these examples may be used as stepping stones by fu- ture classes. For the many opportunities received and for the experiences obtained, we are grateful. There is no way of expressing our great appreciation except by saying that we will treasure the memory of our school years at Spencer High School forever.
