Mr. Drescher received his B.M.E. and M.A. in Journalism from Indiana University. He has traveled in Mex- ico, Alaska, and Europe. He teaches Band, journalism and World History. He is also the yearbook advisor. -gf Mrs. Alice Steiner teaches English. She was born in Louisville, Ken- tucky. She received her A.B. degree from Hanover, and her M.A. degree from the University of Arkansas. She studied in England in the summer of 1955 and lived in Bamberg, West Germany from 1958 to 1959. She has spent the past three summers counseling in rehabilita- tion camps for crippled children.

BUSINESS Bennie Ranum is the business teacher and coach of the varsity track team and 8th, and 9th grade basketball teams. He received his B.S. degree at Indiana State Teachers College. He is married and has two children. His hobbies are handicrafts, reading and sports. He is spon- sor of Hi-Y. An ex-Navy man, he also taught at Dana, Indiana. - '-N-... Mrs. William Rinne teaches typing and shorthand. She attended Indiana University where she received a B.S. in Business and a M.S. in Education. She is sponsor of the Senior Class and Future Teachers of America. Her hobbies are golf and home decorating. She has taught at Ellettsville, University School, in Bloomington, and Fayetteville.

LANGUAGES L,. Miss Lois Galimore received her A.B. degree from Indiana University. She teaches English and Latin, is the school librarian, play director, and Tri-Hi-Y and National Honor Society sponsor. Her hobbies in- clude TV, reading, and growing flowers. Besides teaching at Spencer, she has also taught at Wolcott, Indiana. if Q1 Mrs. Arthur Hoppe has taught English in Spencer for two years. She has a B.S. in Speech and English from Syracuse University. Her hob- bies are dramatics and photography. She has traveled extensively in Egypt with her husband and son.
