Class H zstory Back tn the year of 1946 twenty two eager and brxlllant students entered thexr Freshman year at Spencer I-hgh School Wxth the assmstance of our advtsor Mrs Ruth Whltman we soon adjusted ourselves to h1gh school lxfe Durmg the summer we lost sxx members namely Ronald Bauer Ph1l1p Btllman Nlary Brmker Paulme I..e1by Thomas Pope and Dorothy Tr1acoff In our Sophomore year the blggest thrxlls were the purchase of our class rmgs and our version of a hxllbxlly weddlng as our assembly program Here we were under the capable supervlsron of Mr Sndney Sooy Shortly after school was out we were saddened by the loss of Bxll Cantleberry who met death m a tragmc accxdent Upon roll call at the beglnmng of the .Tunxor year we found that Naomx Gott had left us but later mn the year we acqumred another member Eleanor Slatmsky who left tn our Senior year Then came the bmg event The Junxor Class Play Out of the Ark Came Noah whtch was a bug success For the Junxor Senmor Banquet we treated we took 1n a movxe at Akron Durmg our Junlor year we were under the able gutdance of Mr Davxd Brewer Upon becommg Senlors we found that James Gourlay had moved away The two newest members acquxred were .Tanme Porter and Donna Dawley but Janme left us before the school year was completed Thus our present class IS composed of four teen energetic Senxors who are anxlously lookmg forward to graduahon Our play pre sented tn late sprmg was entxtled Aunt Tzllne Goes To Town Our class 1S proud of lts large bank account whlch w1ll enable us to take a four day trxp to New York Cxty Durmg our Senzor year we were under the able supervrsxon of Mr C D Moore Eleven of our present members have come to Spencer School since the flrst grade They are Norma Denmson Donald Ensxgn Richard Gallatm Ruth Cnesel Lydla l-lydu I..o1s Moore Phyllxs Varney Ardxth Walkden Bruce W alters and Janet Walters The other members of our present class are Earl Bellamy Donna Dawley Rxchard Hall On May 31 'QSO we fourteen mtelhgent ambxtlous Semors took leave of Spencer I-hgh School and embarked on our voyage through lmfe I3 K . , Y. . . . .
