Momentous because the Homecoming Parade was first introduced. The two block long parade featured fifteen floats, the Spencer High School Marching Band and a delegation of horsemen. The queen and her attendants made their initial appearance at the special Homecoming assembly. Jo- anne Doraman was crowned Homecoming Queen by Don DeKoster, Student Body President.

,.,-,--- ' in Homecoming Parade l95l The queen and her attendants made the traditional walk across the football field between halves of the Spencer- Sheldon game while the band played Let Me Call You Sweetheart. An excellent climax to the homecoming festivities was the I9 to 7 Tiger win over the Sheldon Orabs. At the Homecoming Dance held at Jefferson School after the game a special dance was dedicated to the queen and her attendants. 9531 ul Faculty Float
