1 14:-s., il IN LEFT TO RIGHT: Mrs. Paul Sonner, Lulu Flint, Dr. F. D. Edington, Dale Norton, Alden Avery, Supt. W. F. Johnson, Floyd Campbell. lllllllll lll llllllllllll Why build these cities glorious if man unbuilded goes? In vain we build the world. unless the builder also grows. -Edwin Markham We count service on the board of education an honor and a trust even though it imposes a great re- sponsibility and requires a large amount of time. Our real compensation in serving on such a board comes in observing progress and success of the student and graduate and contributing to the welfare of youth. We are proud of the success our students show when scholastic comparisons and competitive features are involved. The success of our graduates generally in higher institutions is gratifying. The board is at- tempting to improve the school facilities and oppor- tunities as evidenced by the new gymnasium-shops building, remodeling in the high school, addition of a special education department, and curriculum develop- ment. You can make our job an enjoyable one by your continued success and happiness. We extend our congratulations to the seniors and year book staff.
