During the summer a floor will be laid over the present study hall that is two stories high. The study hall will be cut to one-half its present size in order to provide for a visual education room in the remainder of the space on that floor while overhead a library equal to the new study hall in size and two class rooms will be built. They have arranged with an architect to draw specifications for bids on a new gym voca- tional shops and other additions. A remedial reading program was added to the ele- mentary school curriculum and also a course in speech correction work. The Board is also developing a new athletic field in track. Mrs. Marie Sonner served as president of the Board this year Floyd Campbell as vice- president and Lulu Flint secretary and Carl Tuttle treasurer.

MR A W SALISBURY Mr Sahsbury has been a very capable cation he this year had the honor of serving as president of the Iowa Association of Sec ondary School Principals He was also a member of the reviewing committee for the North Central Association of Secondary Schools and Colleges oi the curriculum com mittee of the Natlonal Association of Sec ondary School Prmcrpals of the National H1 Y committee and of the area committee for work with high school youth SUPT. W. F. IOHNSON Mr. Iohnson has headed the school admin- istration very efficiently for several years. In addition he has held many community posts This year he served as chairman of a com mittee that prepared a Student Activity Hand book for Secondary Schools He was also a member of the research committee appointed by the State Superintendent of Public Instn1c tion to study a unified activity organization for the state and has served as a member of the Resolutions Committee of the American Association of School Administrators principal.
