Charles Carpenter Literary Editor C .a.e..,.,,,,.. John Hersman students were selected from the Senior Class in the spring of '30 by Mr. Shumaker, the High School Principal, and Miss Daisy D. Harrison, the Senior Class 0HCicer for this year. As the staff was chosen early in the spring, a great deal of work was done during the summer vacation. A large number of scenes and pictures were taken, drawings and cartoons for the Rupicola were Worked out, and the construction of the calendar was started. As soon as school was well under way in the fall, the staff began work in earnest and have been Working faithfully up to the present time. The good work of the staff, coupled with the expert direction and assistance of Miss Harrison makes the school confident of turning out a Rupicola of unusual merits and beauty. Page ezghty one

Much of the success of this club is due to the very inspiring sponsor, M1's. Lukens.
