The Council met and were organized early in the year and thus was able to get a great deal of work done. Miss Faustine Davis was elected president and under her expert guidance and with the assistance of Mr. Shumaker the Council immediately began work to make this school year the most successful year the school had ever known. This it has succeeded in doing. The Council, met regularly and discussed such problems as were detrimental to the progress of the school. Many of these problems were solved by the Council which worked untiringly in its efforts to make the school life run more smoothly. Some of its lasting contributions to the school are a school emblem and a team name in addition to many more things for which the school will be eternally grateful. The government organ- ization of this school has been made a great success by the Student Council of 1931. Page sclenty nme
