JM . -e'5 5',Nf,'i g'e' Man or Mouse gets its name from two of the charactersg one of whom is a diplomatic and peaceful young man, the other a quarrelsome one who believes in fighting it out. The chief element in the story is that of jealousy. Both of them like the same girl, though one of them doesn't realize it. How all these troubles were settled was shown us by Sopho- mores who took part in the play. All of them did excellent work in their respective parts which gave an enjoyable evening at the Robey to those who saw it and those who presented it. The Sophomore Class, with 126 members, is the largest sophomore class that Spencer High School has ever had. Miss Louise Roberts was appointed as class advisor. Under her guidance the class has progressed and they hope that when they are seniors their class will be the finest senior class that Spencer High has ever had. Three members of this class were regulars on the football team, one being an honor student. They also have two members that are regulars on the basketball team. Early in the school year the members of this class presented an interesting assembly program. The class enjoyed a peppy party held in the High School Gym- nasium on the night of November 7, 1930. A large number of the members of this class was present, also several guests. This year the Sophomore Class presented a play entitled Man or Mouse . It was given at the Robey Theater. Miss Roberts coached the play. The class is thankful to her for what she has already done in ad- vancing the class. She has only been with Spencer High this year but they find her a good sport and ready to help in the advancement of the Sophomore Class and Spencer High. Q N. Page seven ty-one
