1 2 Graduation commencement ceremonies were held Saturday. May 21. 1988 at 2:00 p .m . in the R.J. Tack Auditorium. Forty-seven classmates paraded through the proces- sional. celebrating their accomplished 13 years here at Spencer Public Schools. Class colors were silver and scarlet, class flower was a white rose. “If you can imagine it. you can achieve it. If you can dream it. you can become it was the class motto. Student addresses were give by Dawn Ackman. Kiteena Larkin. Kathy Sundell. Michelle Melander. and Linda Boock. each reminiscing their memories of years here, expressing appreciation for lessons learned, and finally saying good-bye to their classmates and friends The class song. “Hard to Say Good-bye , was sung by chorus members and some of the Senior class.
