Student Council Has A Busy Year Student Government began the year by welcoming the students and faculty to school. The first big event was Homecoming week which included various activities. The biggest project of the year was dedicating the football field to Ted Fritsch. Fritsch was a Spencer native who was an all-pro football player with the Green Bay Packers for 9 years. A special ceremony was held for the Fritsch family in honor of him during half-time of a game. The school year proceded with the usual student government activities such as a Christmas Dance, Valentine's Day and Winterfest activities, and Spring Fever Reliever week. 1.
