Pure Gold far Forensics at 5tate Forensics Coach, Mrs. Knauf, reached a milestone in her coach- ing career this year when Lynette Wachholz became her first forensics student to achieve four consecutive A ratings in State competition. The rest of the team, although few in number, also did very well. Vicky Schwantes competed as far as District level and Terry (icinsky and Crystal Mutzner competed in State compe- tition, both were awarded A ratings. 1. lynette Wachholz explains the various ways of cop- ing with stress. 2. fTlath Teams Have Fun UJhen They Compete This year's math teams took a less serious approach to their math competition qt UW-Stevens Point. Spencer was represented by a group of 22 students led by Mr. Christensen. These students com- peted in the areas of Trigonom- etry, Advanced Algebra, and Ge- ometry. 1.
