FHH Initiates First fTlale members 1. Candy Grams, Inc. (Jan Wissell and Don Sandley) delivered Valentine treats to unexpecting. When it was time for new members to sign up for FHA, Brad Cook and Chris Jicinsky were the first boys to join. Throughout the year Brad and Chris were loyal members. February 9-16 was observed as National FHA week. This year members set a day aside for a Super Sundae Sale . The student body could order ice cream sundaes with a choice of var- ious toppings. It was a tantalizing experience! A record breaking amount in Stanley sales and successful ice cream bar sales at noon hour provided the group with money for a successful Parent Banquet at the Holiday Inn in the fall and a trip in the spring. Pure Gold far Forensics at 5tate Forensics Coach, Mrs. Knauf, reached a milestone in her coach- ing career this year when Lynette Wachholz became her first forensics student to achieve four consecutive A ratings in State competition. The rest of the team, although few in number, also did very well. Vicky Schwantes competed as far as District level and Terry (icinsky and Crystal Mutzner competed in State compe- tition, both were awarded A ratings. 1. lynette Wachholz explains the various ways of cop- ing with stress. 2.
