fTlusic Is made the Vear Hraund Before any activities for the 1980-81 school year be- gan, the Rocket Band was busy marching throughout the state. At the July 4th Superior Parade they re- ceived Best of Bands, the highest award given. In November the music and drama departments pre- sented the musical Brigadoon. The chorus put in many long and tiring hours to get it all together. The work paid off and brought in three full houses. The Concert Band and Chorus shared their Christ- mas spirit at the annual Christmas Concert. Their se- lections ranged from marches to traditional Christmas carols. Hits from Musicals was the theme for the Fourth Annual Cabaret. Many soles, duets, and other small groups performed as in other years. When spring came, students spent their time prac- ticing for the local and state Solo and Ensembles con- test, in addition to the Pops concert where awards were given out. 1.
