Kerk- sieck, K. Huotari, N. Stevens. Forensics PROSE and SIGNIFICANT SPEECH Mr. Ryan-coach, D. Ammons, S. David. T. Yost, R. Nichols, G. Toltz- man, B. Pickett. Spencer students had an excellent showing in the Forensics area this year. Twenty-four students entered in the local contest. Of these seventeen continued on in the sub-district contest at Abbotsford. There is a limit of two people for every group that are allowed to continue. These seventeen were chosen as those able to compete further. Six students went to the district contest at Stevens Point. Five went to the state contest in Madison. They were: Linda Gauger. Patty Schweiss, and Rick Cohler in Play- Acting. they received an A-rating; Sherry Carlson, Four-Minute Speech, A-rating; and Bob Kerksieck, Extemporaneous Speaking. Bob received a B-rating.
