After a few days we became acquainted with high school life. Then came initiation. We took our medicine like good sports, but vowed to get our revenge the next year. During the year we had a few dances and just generally got into the swing of things. The big event of our sophomore year was initiation. Oh, how we made those poor freshmen suffer! But, it was all in fun. Then came our junior year. The first big project was our class play, a comedy entitled, Professor, How Could You! The climaxing highlight of the year was the Junior Prom. The theme was Moon River. It took a lot of hard work, but we all felt it was worth it. As seniors, we entered our final year of high school. Our first activity was the Homecoming Dance. The end of the year has brought a whirlwind of activity with our class play, our class trip and getting our plans organized for the years ahead. Now we stand, 38 seniors, on the brink of graduation with the future ahead of us. Down through the years we have made and lost many friends and gained many memories--both happy and sad. As we look back, we realize that these were good years and that we shall not pass this way again. To the underclassmen we say-L Make the most of your high school years; keep up the school spirit; and keep Spencer High a school of which to be proud. Goodby and good luck. WE’RE DONE!
