Class Motto: The Sea r ay Re Rugged, But Our Sails Are Strong, Class Color: Blue and White Class Flower: Red Rose Aiay back on the day of August 2d, 1950, we arrived on the scene at Spencer High School. ..e started the year with forty-nine r;’nc. our class officers we chose, John Tram; as frest it, Myrna Neubauer as Vice President, Shirley Kobs as Secretary, and Larry Fritsch as Treasurer. During the second se-ester we lost Audrey Giliman but gained Marvin and Tony Schillinger. We were initiated by the Sophomore? on September 12. Our class sponsor was Mrs. Neubauer. Our Sophomore year began on August 27, 1951 September 7th we in- itiated the Freshmen. Our class officers this year were President Jim Karau, Vice rresident Garnell Ringquist, Secretary Gloria Rindfleisch, and Treasurer Janet Vanderhoof. Those failing to return thi3 year were Ardene Foth, Emilie Schoolman, Jim Andre, and Dorothy Ertl who was kil- led in an auto accident during the year. We received three new memoers, namely Don Greenwood, Larry Fitzmaurice, and Barbara Brown. This year we ordered our class rings. Our class advisor was r. Robert Valker. On ceotember 2nd. 1952, school bells started ringing and we were back in good old S.H.S. again. Those who failed to return this year were, Goldie Gennette, Dennis Seefeldt, John Trump, Raymond Blanchard, Du’.ayne Tremmell and Barbara Brown. V.e gained one new member, Marcella Eoe from Greenwood. Our class officers were President Don Greenwood, Vice President Marv Schillinger, Secretary Nancy Keister, and Treasurer Vernal 'Veis. e had received our class rings the second week of school, .e had two big projects this year. Our first one was our class play Love Is In The Air . It was a real success. Our second project was our from on 'ay 8th, the theme being Oriental Gardens. Those dropping out during the year were Vernice Cramer, Delores Kolling, and Jerome Bauer. Our Class aavisor was .Mrs. Zogg. During our Senior Srancor t;i.
