The student life at Spelman Cottage is unique. It 1's similar to other colleges yet quite different in many ways. Yes, there are classes, cafeterias, student centers, bookstores, and dormitories bur the student h'fe at Speiman Coliege is more ciose-knit than other cohege families. The student-teacher ratio is smatler afong the college community population. However, because Spelman C oHege has a diverse group of women, the individual decides the type of activities and en w'ronment suitable to their lifestyle. Students are conscious of their studies and study time and of the schoo;F motto, thur Whole School For Chirstfh There are those that will be more concerned about who their study partners are going to he in each class, especially the classes at Morehouse, Ciark, and Morris Brown. White some may find most students awake at late hours of the night or in the library on Saturday mornings, there are those that may linger at parties and malls as an escape before continuing their studies or continuing to another party or mail.
