AT BAND . . .PROGRA Mike Anthony, a member of both pep and varsity bands, beats out a sizzling arrangement of High Hat dur- ing the band convo. With licorice sticks in hand the clarinet players gave out with real cool notes. The Varsity band is under the direction of Mr. Wicker and Miss Rust. Our marching band performed at all home football games this past year. The band also traveled to Indi- ana University for I.U's annual band day. Other activities were participation in the concert band contest at Sheridan and the giving of a convo on February 18, as well as playing for the P.T.A. on March 11. Senior members include Mike Beck, Jim Burkhart, Beverly Cole, Bob Cox, Eugene En- low, Janice Gale, Bill Hackett, Lewis Jay, Clark Johnson, Janette Jolliff, Paul Kojola, Jim McClamroch, Natalie McClelland, Sheron Melton, Wanda Miller, Nancy Morgan, Jeanie Piper, Jeanette Potter, Jim Sprinkles, Judy Standiford, Rosemary Strouse, Bill Sweet, Sue Todd, Denny Troth, Bart Updike, Carol Wenning, Paula Winterfeldt, Diane Woodward and Roberta Yoho. CADET AND EVE TH GRADE The Cadet Band, under the direction of Miss Rust, is the training group for the high school band. ROW 2: Fred Zorniger, Kay Evans, Barbara Simons, Connie Faulk, Richard Harper, Richard Griffin, Kitty Kirby, Richard Hoerger, and Mark Kelly. ROW 3: Sandy Feucht, Marilyn Hubbard, Marylynn Miller, Sandy Lampman, Kay Rumbaugh, Jane Ro- bards, Janice Tremor, Jeanie Nesbit, Linda Nice, Peg- gy Miller, and Gary Bell. ROW 4: Ray Runkel, Shirley Atkinson, Ed Irwin, Tom Elson, Mike Hackett, David Huffman, Dave Johnson, ' Nick Green.
