MODERN-AIRE The first performance given by our newest vocal group, the Modern-aires, was for the Christmas Program. Under the direction of Miss Nancy Rust, the girls sing a wide variety of songs. The members who total twenty-nine in number are: ROW 1: Diane Tower, Judy Whitton, Pam Clark, Alice Balmer, Donna Muncie lpianistj, Miss Rust ldirectorl, Janet Denny, Sandra Smith, Joan Smith, Lynda Denman. ROW 2: Carolyn Warren, Betty Huffman, Nancy Dowden, Bonnie McCahan, Laurel Skid- more, Luanne Tower, Sharon Marsh, Brenda Montgomery, and Judy Hubbard. ROW 3: Cherie Meeder, Theresa Bongen, Sandra Finnerty, Sally Manion, Paula Nolte, Ro- berta Stamm, Beverly Dine, Lois Frye, and Tana Meko. Absent: Gay Halbert and Dee Swords. CHORAL-AIRE Choral-aires is the training chorus not only for the Sparkle-aires, but the for Modern-aires also. Because of an unlimited membership, anyone who has the desire to join and can fit it into his schedule may join. This year Choral- aires is divided into three groups.
