If I Were Principal! If I were principal of this great school How easy things would beg You'd never have to study math Or takes notes in history! When any contest is to be played At home or far away, I'd tack a sign up on my door, There'll be no school today.' If lessons were too hard and long, And had you in a plight, l'd come to your timely rescue And give you one more night! If any boy should have a date And stay out late at night, And come the next day unprepared, l'd say, why, that's all right. When the hot summer days made yo And your pep began to fade, l'd call you into my office And serve you lemonade! u laz Yes, those would be the happy days, With everything sereneg But this is only the silly dream- Of a crazy mixed-up 'teen. Our Principal and His Gal Friday Principal MR. LAWRENCE THOMPSON Secretary MRS. CHARLENE MUSGRAVE

LIBRARIANS FRONT-Richard Kimble, Dan Lupear, Judy Kirch- hoff, Sandra Scyphers, Jo Ellen Haynes BACK-Mr, Beatty, Chester Poor, Jim Burkhart, Bart Updike, Kathy Kruse, Helen Rose Hargitt, Shirley Hughes, Pam Allen, Joyce Schinkle, Scharna Lea Taylor The Librarians assist in all phases of library work, including shelving and rearranging books, alphabet- izing and filing cards, checking in all new magazines, and arranging the attractive book displays in the showcase and on the bulletin boards in the library. Last October five members journeyed to Ball State Teachers College with Mr. Beatty to attend the State Conference of Student Librarians Association. Mr. Albert Wagner and Mrs. Eva Scott serve with Mr. English as custodian and matron, respectively. The still-new appearance of our building attests to the effectiveness of their work. DISPLAY COMMITTEE Bart Updike, Helen Rose Hargitt, Jim Burkhart This was one of their cleverest displays. The Christmas scene and the railroading exhibit were two others well-executed.
