Who would ever have lmagmed that 1n 1969 he would have become such an 011 tycoon that he could 1nv1te the sentor class of 1956 to thrs grand openmg of hrs hotel here tn our hometown of Spearman In collaboratzon wtth the opening of Elbert s hotel we also see that the great movre enthustast Charles Townsend is havtng the Grand Openmg of hrs Olymprc theater which ls ad Joining Elbert s hotel Our class IS to have dlnner wtth Elbert and then rettre to the Olymplc for an evenmg of entertatnment As we enter the lobby we see R C Bantster and Wrlbur Hull wrestlmg on the TV set We can hear the grunts and groans of both of them They really are havrng a hard ume Watching the TV is Bobby Nollner and his guls basket ball team He sure must enJoy his Job to take hrs team wrth him Robert Greever hrs asststant coach said they honestly won a game the other nrght As we go rnto the drning room we see Mona and Reva McLa1n in the corner They have become quxte famous smce we saw them last They now belong to the f1t and fiddle club Next we see no hear Jimmy F1ckl1ng tellmg some of hrs w11d stories He is marrred now and IS havrng to make a hving He Just told us hrs latest Job was dxggrng post holes Maybe someday he wrll be a professtonal We read rn the papers that Lorene Mundy now owns a gudle and corsette shop We regret that she couldn t come to the openrng but she ts hav1ng a btg sa e We heard that Bemard Dossett and Omar Ashley Just txed for the Indlanapolrs Speedway The crowd IS mtghty thrck that IS why we haven t spoken to them yet Nancy Archer Just barely made tt for the opening She Just made lt back from her South Pactfrc Island She really has a hard life She has to pick her own grapes to eat We are sorry the former LOUISE Crawford couldn t make lt for the opentng She IS attendrng a pro baseball game that her husband IS playrng tn She told us on the telephone that she hasn t mrssed a game yet Jane Hathorn appears next and she had to brtng her four krds along be cause her husband was workmg We see Estelle Parrtsh and Beverly Morse who Just arrtved from Europe Estelle rs a forergn correspondent and Beverly rs her bustness manager
