Twirlers Add Color, Variety to Band Carol Knutson was one of the four- teen freshmen members of All-State Bond. Carol, a three year band member , was selected out of 13 SHS band members that auditioned. Carol Knutson Plays with All State Band , ' J Charles McClung Honored by Membership in S. D. Bandmasters Charles McClung, better known as Charlie by his students, was selected as a lifetime member of the South Dakota Bandmasters Associa- tion. He is one of three to be so honored this year. Charlie , SHS band instructor for many years, still assists Mr. Krorabeck in band instruction. -23—
