The 100 Club is composed of those journalism students who have 100 inches or more published in the LOOKOUT. Shown above ore seniors Karen Crowner, Ken Anderson, Mary DeHaai, Roger Bell, Jim Mc- Cleave, and Tom Campbell, last year ' s 100 Club members. The LOOKOUT art staff: Morris Mikkelsen, Jerry Ains worth, and Gory Miller. LOOKOUT Production Demands Many Skills Although the SHS journalism class is designed primarily to give students basic training in journalism, it also produces the LOOKOUT, a bi-weekly school paper. The paper brings school news and editorials to the students, and is completely produced by the students in the journalism class. In addition to the regular jobs at which members of the class are pictured, every member of the class is a reporter. Members of the LOOKOUT business staff are Roqer Dingeman, Bonnie Steele, Carlo Curnow, and Marie Miller. The LOOKOUT sports staff in 1957 was composed of Jim Matson and Jerry Rygg, shown with copyreader Bill McGuigan. -V

Seventh and Eighth Grade Football Team Has Full Season Cited as a very outstanding ball club by Coach Neil Hart, the seventh and eighth grade team completed the 1956 football season with a record of three wins and three losses. The little Spartans defeated Belle Fourche, lost to Sturgis, and split victories in each of their two-game series with Lead and Deadvraod. SHS Gridders in Action
