MISS BEE SOLESBEE An angel might have stoop'd to see, and blessed her (or her purity.” In recognition and appreciation of the patience and time she spent in directing us through our high school life, we the Class of ’56 dedicate this 1956 issue of the SPARTANA to Miss Solesbee. She has served not only as a secretary for the school, but also as a friend, willing at all times to help us solve our daily problems as best she could, and make more pleasant and enjoyable our life at Spartanburg High School. Her task has not been easy, but the fine spirit in which she has untiringly worked with us has won for her many loyal friends and much respect among the members of the Class of ’56. 7
