During the 1956 campaign the Tomcats won seven games while meeting defeat on one occasion The team won its first seven games before being shut out by Lynn in the last scheduled game Since Parker also had a 7 1 record we had to go into a play -off with the Panthers for the Randolph County Baseball Champ1onsh1p The Tomcats won the championship in an errorless game 6-3.
