Members of the Pep Club are in charge of selling cokes and food at all home football games. They attend all games and help in cheering. This year with money earned from bake sales and games this club helped sponsor dances at Homecoming and Halloween.

The Spartanburg Day School's monthly paper the Skylyner is a student-run publica- tion. This year its Editor was Greg Smith and its sponsor was Mr. Freeman. The purpose of the Skylyner is to inform the student body of the daily events around the school. 9!

Chess Club Mr. de la Torre organized the Chess Club two years ago in order that the students at S.D.S. might have a chance to become acquainted with the intricacies of chess.
