Foreword We, the 1965 Bulldog staff, are proud to present to you our finished yearbook. We have worked extremely hard this year with one goal in mind, To make the biggest and best annual SHS has ever seen. As the year draws to a close, we look back upon some of the pleasant events that have taken place during the past year and have tried to capture the most outstanding accomplishments, expectations, and triumphs between the covers of the Bulldog. We consider ourselves very lucky to have had two wonderful ad- visors, Miss Gray and Mr. Mitze and our friend, Mr. Smothers, who have worked long and hard to help us over the rough spots. Only through their patience and cooperation with the annual staff, could this book have been possible. We would also like to express our thanks to our photographer, Mr. Carl Richell, who worked side by side with us in producing the '65 Bulldog. We truly hone that we have succeeded in our endeavor to present a good annual to you, the students of Sparta High.
