To The Students: The primary purpose of education is to develop a well-rounded individual capable of taking a useful part in the economic, social, civic and poli- tical life of our times. It is to that end that the curriculum and extra-curricular activities of our school have been shaped. I hope that your years here have been successful in accomplishing this purpose. To a large extent our school and you students represent the final product of the hopes, plans,and dreams of Mr. Torrence. A fine administrator, an outstanding teacher, and a wise counsellor, he put the welfare of the in- dividual student foremost in all his plans.
