Sparta is fortunate in having as members of the Board of School Directors outstanding citizens who accept their important responsibility. They devote their time and efforts without remuneration except the satis- faction that an effective school program has been maintained. Twelve years ago when the class of '50 started their education there were ZOO on the roll, and progressing thru school many more have followed, until now in 1950, there are 350 on the roll. Due to this fact, an addition to the school is very necessary. Recognizing this, the school board is planning an addition to the building in the near future. The student body and the faculty wish to express their thanks and appreciation to the Board of Directors for their willing co-operation and progressive attitude toward the cause of education. V -13-
