At first the infant, Mewling and puking in the nurse's arms. And then the whining schoolboy, with his satchel And shining morning face, creeping like snail Unwilling to school. Many incidents of comedy, tragedy, and history have taken place within the walls of Sparrows Point High School during the four years of our occupancy. These incidents form the substance of our book.

Dedicafim The class of 1960 takes great pride in honoring Mr. William E. Cale with the dedication of the Hi-Points of 1960. ln his nine outstanding years at Sparrows Point High School, Mr. Cale has taught World History, English, Social Studies Ill, and Dramatics. As most of his students undoubtedly agree, Mr. Cale is the ideal high school teacher. Possessing the virtue of patience, he carefully directs his students onto the stage of life with the utmost capability. Long after graduation, the class of 1960 will remember Mr. Cale as a sincere, loyal, and dedicated teacher ofthe highest quality.
