The yearbook staff this year got off to a fine start under the direction of ad- visor, Mr. Kosicki, and Editor-in-Chief Elaine Hammond, but soon bogged down due to the unfortunate occurrence of a flu epidemic and a snowstorm of un- precedented severity. These unpleasant happenings caused the complete break- down of meticulously prepared picture schedules as well as delays in the distri- bution and collection of copy. The snowstorm also adversely affected the business staff of Hi-Points '58 by oc- curring in the middle of the advertising campaign. This was overcome only by valiant efforts on the part of Mr. Hack- man, advisor, and Jim Ruegsegger and Joane Wolf, managers. Nevertheless, Hi-Points of ,'58 came through without any battle scars! At least we on the staff hope it did! i 1? fpom fs N ditor-in-Chief, ELAINE HAMMOND .rsv . xxi ,us if MR. KOSICKI Editorial Advisor RUSSELL EVERHART RICH MROZ Activities Editors 2 is., D. Young, E.
