PERMETEZ-MOI DE OUS PRESE TEZ U E AMIE FRANCAISE 'Af 2'- , s wt L. f HUGUETTE PATALACCI Huguette Patalacci has the distinction of being the first foreign exchange student at Sparrows Point High School. A resident of Nice, France, Huguette came to us in early August to spend the school year as a member of the class of '57. She isasmall, dark haired girl whose impish smile has endeared her to the hearts of the entire student body. Her laughter has brightened many cloudy days with its hearty, genuine quality. Her favorite sports are swimming and basketball. Huguette can always be found in the cheering section at the Pointer's basketball games. Her school spirit and interest in this and other activities have in- spired all who have known her. She is a contributing member of the F.T.A., the Spooks, Tri-Hi-Y, and the Student Government Association. She also is an accomplished pianist as evidenced by her studies at the Peabody Conservatory of Music where she has won a scholarship. We feel that after her return to France, Huguette will become one of the leaders in world fellowship due to her experiences in this country. Hav- ing Huguette with us this year entitles us to send a member of our student body abroad to spend this summer as a member of a European household. The finalists are Bonnie McGrogan, D. Young, D. Williams, and Peggy Maguire.
