She married a man from Chicago and now has three very nice children I understand she is president of the Por ent Teachers' Association and has some office in all the many clubs to which she belongs. When you view the class of 1953, you can't miss Wendell Hoskins Wendell not only was very much mixed up in all the activities, but he was very popular with all the kids. A ter school, Windy' served four years with the United States Navy When he was discharged, he attended La Spar College, where the whole nation became acquainted with him through his spectacular basketball playing. He took Fordy Anderson's place at Bradley and 18 now retlred I was very much surnrlsed to learn that nwindyn marrled the second year he was out of the navy to a very nice gal from Texas. Wendell is now living in Illinois' most modern and costly house on the edge of Sparland city limits. Wanda Divelblss, who was always o tall and graceful, became a very successful model in New York After she made her million she retired and married a well know news commentator. She now lives in Paris but frequently flies to Sparland for short visits Footloose and fancy free, Gary Hoskins is still the same old HDutch.U He served in the Air Corp until he re ceived his pension. I have heard it said that he has his walls papered with the hearts he has broken. That kid al- ways was a lady killer. Mary Mattingly started to work as a secretary in Peoria but soon married the boss. I have lost track of her, but I think she is living on Mars. Herman Barnett went two years to the University of 1111 nois and then joined the army. He recently retired from his insurance firm, having taught his son the business. New A1len's grandson is the youngest three-star general ' of f ll I -1-unybqp-snr As for Harry McIntyre, he served his term wlth the army then returned to Sparland, bought a farm and married hometown glrl He new hrs two sons serving in a space patrol, and a dxughter keeping records on Mars Tom Wallace attended West Polnt mud followed very close ly in the footsteps oi Dwlght ElS6HhOWCPc He was a well known general in the w r, then, turnnng to politlcs, he be c me presldent of the Unlted St tes.
