LORENE SNEDDON Representative ,,,,,,,, Y, ,Av,A ,ERNEST BRQWN Sminr 611155 As old Father Time turns another page in his century-old Book of Time, the Senior Class of 1952 leaves the halls of Sparks High School, each one to seek his way in the world. Yet, this past year has left many happy memories in the hearts of the graduating Seniors. The Seniors were active all through the year in extra-curricular activities. In the field of sports, sixteen Senior boys earned letters in football. Basketball season showed five Senior boys playing on the Varsity team. Looking at Girls' sports, we see that Donna Ronchetti, Lucille Nelson, Shirley Hancock, Irene Ruiz and Claire Risley were particularly outstanding in G. A. A. lndirectly connected with sports were the five yell-leaders-three of whom were Seniors. We shall always remember the lusty cheers of head cheerleader Jayne Williams and cheerleaders Nora Stanton and Donna Ronchetti, at our football and basketball games. Always appearing at the games and leading our own band were the five pert maiorettes and the drum maiorette. Three Seniors were maiorettes-Lola Clark, Gael Sullivan and Irene Phoenix. Drum maiorette was Gerry Bishop. Flagbearers were Seniors Ann Cunningham, Juanita Creveling, Louise Davidson and Phyllis Boyer. The Senior class was also well represented in the band with six members-Norman Cummins, Bev Sue Hug, Wanda Eason, Marge Eaton, Shirley Allen and Neil Baker. Another extra-curricular activity is the field of Dramatics. The All-School Play, held in November was entitled f'It's Spring Again. The cast of thirteen included ten Seniors-Shirley Allen, Jayne Williams, Bev Hug, Harry Ericson, Gerry Bishop, Don Nelson, Neil Baker, Lola Clark, Keith Odle and Ann Cunningham. The Senior Play and the annual Forensic, held in the Spring, were also successful, with many Seniors participating. Under the leadership of Miss Naveran and Mr. Robb, Senior Class Advisors, all Senior social events, especially Senior Cut Day and the Senior Ball were rousing successes. Now, as the school year of T952 comes to a close, the Senior Class will leave the hallowed halls of Sparks High. Nevertheless, they will long be remembered as one of the most outstanding classes ever to graduate from Sparks High School,
