lflf l'l I Superinfmde And Z7 Ya' ,ml Your future is beginning right now. High School clays will de- cide whether the foundation to your future will be weak or strong. We, the faculty and administra- tors of Sparks High School, are here to teach you and advise you. Whether the cement will be strong, depends upon you. With your cooperation the opportuni- ties placed before you will de- velop the firm base needed for whatever you plan. Let's work together for your fu- ture. Principal .2fM. What next? Will it be more schooling, a iob, the service or marriage? Whatever it is the graduates will take in stride with a minimum of worry, because you have confidence in your future. Your lack of experience and care- free attitude are distinct advan- tages in facing a troubled world. Perhaps the friendly atmosphere of your school and the friend- ships that have been made form the background for your opti- mism. Keep these friendships and strive to make new ones because they will be your best possessions. Whatever your fu- ture I know you will accept its responsibilities with courage. Svlzovl Heard The Sparks School Board serving our high school has handled many difficult problems very competently throughout the year. Many hours have been spent in work on the new high school, its actual construction and its future furnishings. Two outlying districts of Vista and Lockwood have been consolidated to the school district this year adding greatly to the school territory under the iurisdiction of the Sparks Board. Because of an increased enrollment, the School Board, before the close of the present school year will have five members instead of the present three. State law requires that when enrollment for a district exceeds fifteen hundred there will be a five-member board. With the increased staff to take over the difficult problems connected with a school, such as the selection of the teachers and approval of the budget, we will be assured of the best possible educational opportunities. The Sparks School Board plays a very vital part in the education of the youth of our community, and they are to be congratulated for a iob well-done, ff, 0 -11 A a NLF'- Lvl ,ffl fl X , I ,t Y x8 Mrs Agnes Risley Clerk Mrs Agnesl?
