In this 1950 Edition of the Ternzzhzzs, the Staff has endeavored to present a well-rounded picture of the events and activities of the past school year in the Sparks High School. These events and activities have been presented to you in the form of a Game , which is the general theme of this year's book. As stated in the Prologue, and evidenced through the book in the Division Pages, the Game has been constantly in the minds of the Staff members, who have prepared this volume. You have lived with us the parts of a UGame from the First Quarter of the lirst division page through the closing last division section of the Game, in the Fourth Quarter. As the Mgun goes off and the game ends, we leave with you the thought that for the students and Faculty of Sparks High who have made the activities of the year possible and long-to-be- remembered memories, the ending, be it of the 'AGame' or of the school year, is in reality only a beginning of the 'iGame of Lifef, The 71C'I'l7ll'f1l!5 Staff of the Sparks High School sincerely thank all students, stall members or otherwise, and teachers who have in some way contributed towards this volume. Special thanks and appreciation go to our Superintendent Procter Hug, and to our Principal, Edwin Whitehead Who have helped make our book a success. We have enjoyed working with Mr. Lane and Mr. Kelly of the Nevada Engraving Company, Mr. Farrell Ross, Gordon Campbell and Staff of Ross Photo Service, Mr. Quivey, Maj., Sam, Mr. Gibson and Staff of A. Carlisle and Company. Thanks, everyone! .fix lllg ll I -+ 5 5 , L I aN,f- ef-gfmf , . --.Mi-sw,-ov H 133 TO THE VICTOR SEND YOUR SOILS CLEANERS TAILORS 3II SIerrd S r Lt A StI Phone 7 363 Phone TDI?
