Sparks Students At Work In Shelbyville Let us take a walk along the streets of Shelbyville, Illinois, as of August 2, 1958, and observe the fine men and women, former students of Sparks College. Many of them are proprietors and managers of various types of businesses. If the count is correct, there are 168. Figuring the average income at $60 a week (it will average much more, certainly), you get more than one-half million dollars a year, to say nothing of what out-of-town students spend for living expenses each year. Perhaps Sparks College is a paying institution.
