CLASS lllS'I'0llY One brlght sunny mornlng ln September l95Z s1x happy freshmen crept 1nto the halls of Spangle Hlgh They were Don Ha s tlng John Parker Rosa Lee Wlttwer Mlldred Mandar1ne Leone Waddell and Dlck Speck If they had only known what was 1n store for them they would have looked 1nto a gypsy fortune crystal ball and they mlght have s e en th1s The class of '54 gettlng a brg k1ck out of 1n1t1at1on fresh1es gett1ng an even blgger bang out of xt 1n more ways than one M r L1mbert IS takmg on the task of class advlsor th1s f1rst year Mr Drummond 1s takmg on the task of class advxsor ln the sopho more year There are flve members ln the class th1 s second year Trad1t1onally the Sophomore Hop was gxven and It turned out a blg suc cess Naturally the class of '56 gave It Upper classmen now and the glory IS not all lt seems Mr Drummond IS the class adv1sor agam thls year There a re three class members thls year The .Tumor Prom was glven and the decorat1ons we re red and whlte crepe paper w1th black dancmg sllhouettes on the walls and the stage Our theme was S1ncerely The musxc was furmshed by the N1te Owls from Cheney Our class 1n1t1ated the class of '58 thls year A good t1me was enjoyed by all especlally at the party for the fresh men that nlght Wasn't1t class of '58?
