SENIOR HISTORY One bright and sunshiny day early in September in the year l9AO, the stork came winging his way over the Spangle sdiool house and alighting, deposited a large, awkward green bundle in the west corner of the assembly. At close oheervitialn Mr. Hulvey, discovered it contained 15 assorted tadpoles of various sizes, shapes, but one common color---green. Early in October, the Juniors took over and gave these poor bewild- ered tadpoles a whole week of initiation. On the last day of school they celebrated NThe End of their Green Tadpole Daysn, by taking in a couple of shows in Spokane. The next September we found the 1950 tadpoles, as sophis- ticated Sophomores. The year was spent as usual, a little excitement now and then 4 In February they gave a Valentine party, which was their only steo in the social life of the school Agwin on the last day of school they celebrated,by going to a lake this time as future Juniors The Junior year started out with a bang They immediately started out by doinv big things First by initiating the Freshman, and Diving the initiation party In December they presented the play Hwho Killed Aunt Carolinen, which was a wonderful success In Lay they gave the Junior Prom which will gp down in history as a beautiful and entertaining Prom This year they were thrilled by the opoortunity to go with the Seniors on a Junior Senior oicnic ihey spent a exciting and engoyatle week end at Loon Lake The fall of '43 found them as high and :nightly Seniors No d ll moments this V ar first the Harv st Ball, which proved to xcry great success Then they wer so bwsy cutting out the Tattler, and Annual, and catching up n nThoseH two badly ee rc credits, fhat there wasn't much time fo fvolirg, as had been witnessed in the other three years 1+fr mu h brapging they really showed what they could do wncn they pre ented their S nior pl y Later they took ou for their Senior sneak, which turned out to be an t r exciting and never forgettable week end I June,lO Salvo s passed from the history of the Spangle H1 School Bu+ we are sure they will never be forgotten They sincerely hope that the H1 School classes following them vill be able to spend their four years in complete Y happiness as they have done X f , f J, if 693 2 Fear I X ffl .
