SENIOR CL SS HISTORY In the fall of l937 we, a bewlldered group of Freshman entered Spangle Hlgh fe were greeted by the Junlors who were already plottlng our 1D1t1atlOH We spent a good part of thls year gettlng accustomed to a dlfferent type of school llfe Durlng the year partles lncludlng success Nhen we entered much dlfferent s now lany thlngs we were Sophomores we gave several a Nscavenger huntn whlch was a huge hlUhSChOOl as Junlors, thlngs seemed we had only the Senlors to look up t happened thls year, the flrst belng our 1n1t1at1ng the Freshman Next came our Junlor Class play entltled HRunn1ng Wlldn The olay was under the dkrectlon of UlSS Madellne Carroll and glven 1D the Spangle Gymnaslurm Next came our nJun1or Prom ln honor of the class of l9LO The Prom Qween chosen from the Senlor Cla s was Miss Pamela Byers Wu 1C was furnlshed by arl Hasklns Orchestra and the whole gym w s practlc ally covered wlth flowers The flnal event of the year was our Jun or Class plenlc t Deer Lake Je all had a grand tlme and dreaded seelnp lt end Our Senlor year of course was b st of all Flrst came Thls success helped our class funds very much Next came the Junlor Prom g1VGH ln our honor Nusle was furnlshed by Norm Thue's well known orchestra and the gym was b autl ully decorat d George Schleche and Joan Byers were Prom Klng and ween e had wonderful tlme and certalnly appreelate all of the work thls caus d the Junlors May lo, l7 and 18th we spent at DlQmOHd Lake on our Senlor sneak Although lt ralned nearly all oi the tlme we were there, lt wlll r m ln one of our nevfr to be forgotten 8CtlV1tleS attended a dance at Dlamond Lake Saturday nlght and also a show Sunday ev nlng on our way home Wlth us were hr Cooney, our advlsor, hrs Hardesty, hrs Snoey and hlss Johnson They all treated us swell and we hope they enjoyed the trlp as much as we dld A ' 4 . g YU? . e K l l . . . 4 A .
