V This year's Varsity football team was not too suc- cessful. The team ended the season with a record of two wins and six defeats. Many injuries hurt Southwood during the season. The team was coach- ed by Mr. Sinclair, Mr. Freeman and Mr. Nyhan. Mr. Sinclair stated: I was very disappointed be- cause I thought the team would do better. The Most Valuable Player was Frank Verducci, Most Inspirational Player was Dan John and the Most Improved Player was Steve Ludewig. The team captains were Frank Verducci and John Baca. First Row: R.
