BETTER WORK MAKES BETTER JOBS You can ' t keep a good man down is an adage which holds water. High school graduates are all good men, filled with enthu- siasm and the desire to make good in life. You can put 10 high school graduates to work in the same department of a company - each doing the same kind of work and with the same opportunity to learn and advance. At the end of a year, two or three will be at the top of their group - the rest will be where they started. Why? Because real value always rises to the top. The more you put into a job, the more you get out of it. You must give more to your jobs before you can expect more out of them. Maintain at all times a positive, constructive, progres- sive attitude toward your job. Always think in terms of how things can be done - never in terms of why they cannot. E. I.
