Beauty Pageout Top Pageant Contestants As her name was announced as ‘Pacific Princess,’ Dawn Johnson excitedly accepted the crown from her best friend and past-pageant winner Shannon DeHondt. With tears in her eyes. Dawn walked slowly down the ramp. Emotions exchanged as both father and daughter said, “I love you.” Dawn’s response to her question concerning the world ' s biggest problems commented on the na¬ tion’s poverty and unemployment. “If people come together to work toward peace, these would be great¬ ly reduced,” said Dawn.
