TELEPHONE There ' s a new style of kidnapping. Any would-be kidnapper should abduct his victim and demand ransom in the form of food for the poor, sort of like Robin Hood. Such demands better society by equalizing incomes and eliminate the possibility for the cap- ture of the criminal during the ransom pick-up. This year ' s students have been more verbal in their grievances. One group that has been referred to as the V.C. has aroused considerable attention on campus. One of the incidents was a bridge erected between the SUB and Chapel. One lady told Floyd Lackey, Relax, after all it ' s not everyday that a person gets a per- manent structure named after him. And you ' re not even sick. There was really a bridge over the sidewalk. It was in protest of the leaky pipe that was in the vicinity and the mess it had caused. Another protest was that of the poor garbage pick-up that was caused by the resignation of Frank. That complaint took the form of a phone booth stuffed full of trash placed outside of Mood during Homecoming Weekend. 10

What about Agnew? Haven ' t you heard!? He ' s no longer V.P. Some guy named Ford is up there. That reminds me of something in the ' 72 campaign when the Republicans were bigmouthing that the Democrats couldn ' t find a candidate for the running mate of George McGovern. Weren ' t there 7? And now this incident with Agnew. I don ' t know which is worse. 12
