H| am n WILLIAM C. FINCH President President William C. Finch is recognized as one of the finest Presidents that has ever been at the helm of the Administration of Southwestern. Never has such a growth in scholarship, financial condition, and in spiritual thinking taken place under the leadership of any one man, such as it has during the seven year reign of President Finch. Because of his whole-hearted interest in Southwestern, and his untiring efforts for the success of all undertakings of the University; and because of his kindness, helpfulness, humor, optimism, sincerity, and as a genuine Christian gentleman, the students and faculty wish to pay an humble but all-meaning homage of thanks for a job well done. 16
