Pi Epsilon Delta Pi Epsilon Delta is a national hon- orary dramatic fraternity. Its mem- bership is restricted to juniors and seniors who have participated in two or more drama activities pro- duced on the campus. Its chief aimo are to stimulate interest in and raise dramatic standards and achieve- ment through encouraging the best individual and group efforts in play writing, acting, directing, costuming, stage technigue, stage designing, research, and literature. It is a National Honorary Collegiate Journalism Fraternity that strives to improve campus publications and to create a keen interest in this field. Requirements for membership are that the person must be a junior or senior and have had a year of experience on a campus publica- tion. A student of junior or senior or graduate classification who has had at least twenty semester hours of social science with an average grade therein of not less than 85 per cent, and who does not have any academic failure on his record, and who has further distinguished himself in the social sciences, is eligible for membership upon election by the members. The purp ose of Pi Gamma Mu is to improve scholarship in the social studies and to achieve synthesis therein; to inspire social service to humanity by an intelligent approach to the solution of social problems; to engender sympathy toward others with different opinions and institu- tions by a better mutual understanding; and to supplement and to sup- port, but not to supplant existing social science organizations by promot- ing sociability and attendance at meetings.
