Under this system, in which the student is placed on his honor to keep the code set up by the Council, the Honor Council acts as co-ordinator and mediator. The Chairman of the Council is the Vice- President of the Student Association, who this year is Kelly Burkhart. Membership of the Council consists of the chairman, two mem- bers each from the Senior, Junior, and Sopho- more classes, and two members from the Stu- dent Senate. Also members, but carrying no vote, include one member from each sorority and fraternity, and one member each from the Independent boys and girls. The responsibility for continued existence of this Honor System rests upon the Honor Council. They must strive to impress upon the minds of the students the importance of do- ing their own work.
