Barnhart (6) Miss Allene Carraway (7) SEVERAL years ago Southwestern University adopted the Honor System by which cases of dishonesty on examina- tions or in recitations and offenses against the Student Body are referred to the Honor Council. The system has worked suc- cessfully, although there have been but few occasions which required its attention. The Council acts in co-operation with the Faculty; it is controlled by the Students ' Association which elects the president from the Senior Class, but the other mem- bers are chosen by the various college classes. 13

An important part of the Self-Government Association is the Woman ' s Honor Council which attends to the discipline of the Woman ' s Buildingstudents. 1 4
