s a Time and a Season Sunrise. An event so common yet so beau- tiful, and despite its beauty, an event wit- nessed so seldom by so few. One is never quite like the next, but all signal the start of a new day in this endless cycle called life. Each year is filled with these cycles — day to night, week to weekend, semester to semester break, season to season. Each has its own moods, its own life, activities and characteristics that distinguish it from the rest. Although much of what occurs on campus changes little from one day to the next, there are those things that do change. There is an inherent difference between winter and summer, a Monday morning and a Friday afternoon. It is these cycles that we have attempted to show — the complete cycle of a year at USL.
